Refund and cancellation policy
Last updated 25 September 2026
This policy covers fees paid to The School of the Good Shepherd, Thiruvananthapuram, through this website.
Cancelling a payment
A payment cannot be cancelled once it has been completed with the payment provider. If a payment was made by mistake, ask for a refund as below.
When a refund is given
- A payment made twice for the same fee, or for the wrong child or the wrong amount, is refunded in full on request.
- A payment that failed with the payment provider but was still debited from your account is reversed by the provider or your bank, normally within five to seven working days. If it is not, contact the school office with the payment reference.
- School fees themselves are for the child's place in the school for the period they cover. Fees for a month or term in which the child has attended are not refundable. Where a child leaves the school, any refund of fees paid in advance is decided under the terms given at admission.
How to ask
Write to or visit the school office at your child's campus with the child's admission number, the amount, the date and the payment reference from your receipt. See contact us. The office will confirm the request in writing.
How a refund is paid
A refund is made to the account or card the payment came from, through the payment provider, within ten working days of the school confirming the request. It is made by the same legal entity that received the payment, which is named on the receipt.
